After studying Math and Economics in college, Roger wanted to shift toward tackling more medically-relevant research questions. He recently completed his PhD in Systems Biology studying comparative genomics of *Mycobacterium tuberculosis* where her studied Mtb evolution in-host and convergent evolution in Mtb globally. And will soon begin a Computational Biologist position within the Center for Computational Biomedicine after a brief postdoc with the Farhat lab.
