Aryan Shaik

Aryan Shaik is an undergraduate student in a BS/MD program at Texas A&M University (TAMU) majoring in Bioinformatics. He has a keen interest in the intersection of data science and medicine. Aryan’s research in the Farhat lab focuses on the analysis of tuberculosis, specifically analyzing a unique dataset of paired genomes/metagenomes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis generated directly from patient samples with and without intervening culture.
